Designing TiOx thin films with active protein coating

1. Many application in clinical fileds relying heavily on metal, metal oxides and composites, procedures in prosthesis (Bone and Dental) need active support of regenerative material. Could we make thin, ns-TiOx depository films that can be deposited on native tissue for crack tolerance or crack resistance?
2. Amalagm (Hg-Silver)filled carries, coated with ns-TiOx thin film may be more reliable? general longevity (imp issue in dentistry) of Amalgam is 24 years, could above ns-Thin film coating can increase this?
